+ How much is coaching?
This will vary depending on how far you are from race day, and what your individual needs are. Let’s set up a time to discuss!
+ Is there anything else included?
After completing an intake session with me, your custom training plan will be delivered to you via email. From there, I’m available to you for text support right up until race day.*
+ Are there any opportunities for group training sessions?
While I am not personally running group sessions at the moment, I am happy to share my network and connect you to a group that fits your needs.
+ What’s your coaching philosophy?
Triathlon should be fun. While triathlon training requires commitment and focus, it also needs to fit into our life, otherwise it’s not realistic.
+ What makes you different from other coaches?
I look at each athlete as a whole person / athlete, and not just a set of data. By understanding what else is going on in your life...we will go above and beyond programming swim / bike / run workouts. We’re building you as an athlete together, and this involves elements of how to fuel, mindfulness, transition, strength work, race day prep, etc.
+ Do I need a smartwatch to receive coaching?
A smart watch is not necessary - especially for the beginner program. As you progress, you’ll definitely begin to crave more data - and so when you’re ready - you can make this purchase.
+ Is Triathlon really expensive?
As a sport it can seem really daunting to start because there are three activities you need to learn about, and buy gear for. Fortunately, there are lots of opportunities for gear swaps, and a good second hand marketplace for those who are just looking to dabble into the sport. (Warning: Triathlon can be very addictive!)
